Hello! I have been following this site since Lori posted a link on the arts camp lj last year and have been really mad at myself because I can never seem to make it to an event. Sadly the Easter egg hunt is no different. But I was wondering if you would allow me and some friends to do something similar at my high school? |

So, ideas for Easter egg messages, eh?
From Waking Life:
"Dream is Destiny"
"Super perfundo on the early eve of your day"
From Jones Soda caps:
"Imagine Whirled Peas" (say it out loud)
"Your life will be happy and peaceful"
"Re-arrange the furniture"
"Laugh out loud (really loud)"
"Listen!"
"Minimize expectations to avoid being disappointed"
"Read to a child"
"Important information will come from a child"
(I have a funny anecdote about those last two, if anyone cares to hear it.)
From the pun that archaeologists make constantly:
"Archaeology: Can you dig it?"
From my own head:
"I can't think of anything right now (I really can't)."
Anyway, I don't think that I'll be able to do any sort of volunteering, due to the end of the year (and of my undergraduate degree) quickly approaching. But I will let you know if I do. And if I think of any other good sayings, I will post them.

concerning your 'name your lanes' project.
If you check around, you will discover that most laneways which do have names, are titled 'Place' - quite appropriate I think - or 'Terrace' - a name carried over from London. eg. in Kensigton Market there is Kensington Place, Leonard Place Glen Baille Place and Fitzroy Terrace. Perhaps it would be a good idea to keep with this long-standing tradition. |

Hi there, so now I know the answere for all these little hearts at the queeen street pavements! :-) I really loved it and I love the spirit and energy of what you are organizing! Here are some suggestions for the messages in the eggs:
• ‘ I live in Fantasyland….and I have oceanfront property’
• Goddesses with an attitude
• I blame my parents
• Aged to perfection
• Born to Party. Forced to Work
• I can’t be good all the time
• You lost me at ‘Hello’
• Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups
• I feel a sin coming on
• suddenly she even felt cosmopolitan
• Born to be wild
• Easy rider
• Just bring attitude
• She had not yet decided whether to use her power for good…or evil
• they refused to let common sense cloud their judgment
• don’t worry…it happens to lots of guys
• We have nothing to fear but our mothers
• He was so cute when he was wrong
• nothing you say can shock me honey
• Dear Santa, I can explain
• she would show him naughty
• If you can’t stay young you can stay immature
• She wasn’t sure she wanted to live happily ever after
• Could mother have been right?
• perhaps it was time to try a different corner
• They’re so happy, it’s happy hour
• All I want is an umbrella in my drink
• Let’s ignore our mothers’ well meant advice
• We are prepared to party
• Golly! That was fun!
• She was disinclined to play by the rules
• If you show me your tan line, I’ll show you mine
• I plead insanity
• Pardon my French
• The older I get…the better I was
• Why be difficult when with a little effort you can me IMPOSSIBLE
• I’m keeping the kitchen clean…I’m dining out!
• I tried rehab but it was killing my nightlife
• Let’s just say I work here until Hollywood discovers me
• Oh my God! My mother was right about everything!
• Let’s play hide and go fuck yourself!
• Cute and Psycho! Things even out
• I hangovers
Cheers
