Hello! I have been following this site since Lori posted a link on the arts camp lj last year and have been really mad at myself because I can never seem to make it to an event. concerning your 'name your lanes' project.
If you check around, you will discover that most laneways which do have names, are titled 'Place' - quite appropriate I think - or 'Terrace' - a name carried over from London. eg. in Kensigton Market there is Kensington Place, Leonard Place Glen Baille Place and Fitzroy Terrace. Perhaps it would be a good idea to keep with this long-standing tradition. |
