Join us for a massive battle of Jedi vs. Sith in downtown New York City. Pick a side of the force and use that venerable, ancient, glowing tool: the lightsaber, in the ultimate nocturnal showdown.

Claiming Lightsabers
We will have the lightsabers in two piles: First Name A – K, First Name L – Z. If you used an organization when signing up for PayPal, it will be under that name. Please show up AT LEAST half an hour before the battle begins. If you do not claim your saber by 9:15, it may be given away. NO REFUNDS will be offered for no-shows.
Volunteering
We need your help! Please show up at the SE part of the park (Teen Plaza) at 7:30 if you would like to assist. You will be looking for a white cargo van. Text 516-312-0693 if you cannot locate it.

Safety
Follow these simple rules to make sure everybody is safe:
+ Swing lightly, as there will be many people swinging at once
+ Don’t hit people in the face. This should be pretty obvious.
+ Goggles are stylish and a good way to protect your eyes!
+ When in doubt, tap out.

The event begins at 9 PM, all ages are welcome! And yes, you can bring your own lightsaber.

Yes, it has been moved back since the rain doesn’t seem to be that crazy anymore. And if it rains… we will fight in the rain.
