We invited you to stay up past your bedtime as we built an even larger complex of blanket forts. We explore the labyrinthine maze of softness, this time inside a beautiful 5,000 square-foot loft on Queen West. We enjoyed bedtime stories, winter- and holiday-themed areas, art installations and late-night snacks. Pyjamas were highly encouraged!

On December 7th, 2010, we teamed up with Virgin Mobile to hold a massive simultaneous kiss under the world’s largest mistlestoe. For each kissing couple, Virgin Mobile donated $5 to our favourite charity, WWF-Canada, and the kiss countdown was led by Degrassi’s Charlotte Arnold and Raymond Ablack.

Join us for our annual adrenaline-pumping urban game that sees Toronto’s Financial District turned into a massive playground, as thousands of people run across downtown, hide behind skyscrapers, dash through underground tunnels and capture the enemy flag.

The Spoiler Alert signs, a collaboration between Newmindspace and Jason Eppink, are faith-enhancing adjustments to New York City subway platforms, creating opportunities for trust in the city’s most important institution in the face of its overeager self-quantified broadcasts.

On July 31st, 2010, we held our second massive lightsaber battle in front of the Royal Ontario Museum. Over 500 Jedi and Sith battled it out in the ultimate struggle of both sides of the Force.

Each year, over 1,000 people converge in Times Square to blow millions of bubbles using all sorts of crazy contraptions. Loosely inspired by the Dr. Seuss book The Butter Battle Book, the event seeks to reshape the insanity of Times Square into a tranquil, joy-filled event.

In May of 2010, we expanded upon our idea of massive, public lightsaber battles. Instead of using cardboard tubes and blacklight-reactive paint, we upgraded to LED lightsabers to make for a truly dazzling display and a truly epic evening.

The annual Toronto pillow fight moved up to Yonge & Eglinton as we said goodbye to the public square before it gets bulldozed for mall expansion. Possibly our furthest event from downtown Toronto, and ranked by Eye Weekly as one of Toronto’s most memorable events in 2010.

Blanket Forts is an ongoing series of collaborative, soft, labyrinthine mazes made of blankets, sheets and pillows. We invite a few hundred of our closest friends to join us in constructing these fluffy compounds, and explore the slumber party environment all night.

After a break to ruffle some feathers on Wall Street, the pillow fight returned to its ancestral home for the 5th annual event in 2010. This year was also the inaugural year of Pillows for Puppies, which saw over 1000 pillows donated to homeless shelters and animal shelters around New York.

For Valentine’s Day 2010, we painted thousands of little pink hearts on the streets of our favorite neighborhood in New York City: SoHo.
