As the days grow shorter and the nights grows colder, Toronto is transformed into a majestic, icy kingdom. Join us dressed as fuzzy Eskimos*, fun fur friends, playful penguins, snuggly polar bears and silly seals as we celebrate the splendor of winter. Watch out for the yeti! This three-hour custom route, journey across the tundra on Toronto’s most wonderful chartered sled will be enlivened by booming electro beats from DJ’s Dingokiller and JustinTyce. Paper snowflake making, foam snowball throwing and wild dancing are strongly encouraged :)

This event will sell out because we are only renting one streetcar this time. If you absolutely cannot make it downtown to purchase tickets, e-mail us. Starting location TBA the week of.

Not too long from now, in front of a museum that looks like a Jawa Sandcrawler, a battle of epic luminescence will break out between warring factions of Jedi and Sith. Defend the galaxy from darkness with UV lightsabers!
1,600 blacklight-reactive, meter-long cardboard tubes will be distributed in front of the Royal Ontario Museum, where there will be six massive blacklight cannons aimed at the crowd :) Wear a costume! The battle will continue until every tube is destroyed!

Subway party tonight! Dress in your spookiest, scariest, fun furriest costume and join us for a late night ride beneath the streets of Toronto. Bring candy, decorations and a friend to this Halloween celebration. Bangin’ electro tunes will blast from the Rothko Institute + VelcroRocket portable soundsystem, and we will ghost ride the train!

Last year’s went perfectly! This is because we followed some simple guidelines for the TTC’s sake:
+ No smoking *anything*
+ No open alcohol, tickets have been written before
+ Keep off the seats, really!
+ Mind the emergency alarm
+ Leave no trace
+ Don’t hold doors open or leave the train
Costumes are mandatory :)
We will be riding in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Montréal, who are having a métro party at the same time :)

Capture the Flag! Capture the Flag is a massive, adrenaline-pumping, urban game played on the streets of downtown Toronto. Two teams hide flags in their territory and attempt to capture the enemy flag using subways, streetcars, bicycles, longboards or their own two feet. Join us as we dash through the Financial District (the only ‘hood in T.O that doesn’t really have residences), evade the enemy, hide behind Toronto’s skyscrapers, travel through the PATH and score a point.

String of Diamonds is hundreds of bright, white lights that seem to hang from the heavens. Visitors can view the 15-story tall centrepiece or help create strands of their own with friends and strangers. This shimmering landmark begins as a mystery that invites participants from kilometers away.
We will be located just southwest of the ROM in the field behind Trinity College. The easiest way to get there is through Philosopher’s Walk, which begins just west of the ROM. You can also get there via Devonshire Place or an alley that begins just north of Museum station.

Castles in the Sky is the sequel to our epic, renegade street parade, Flight of Fancy. A massive, mobile celebration in places you’d never expect: think marching bands, the new waterfront, rolling soundsystems, wild costumes and packed subway trains.
We are looking for mobile installations, ideas, costumes, props, parade floats, crazy bikes, trucks, golf carts, art cars, route suggestions, marching bands, and pretty much anything else you can think of. E-mail us to pARTicipate!

Feathers fly and teddies soar as you converge for a giant urban pillow fight! Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants. Bring a soft pillow at 3 PM and wait for the signal. Pillow fight!
Costumes and funky pillows encouraged :)

In 24 hours, we will embark on an enchanted journey beneath Montréal, a ride sprinkled with pixie dust and fantastic creatures. Wizards dance with nymphs, dragons with dwarves, and elves with princesses to the sound of magical speakers! Meet us at Henri-Bourassa station by the last metro car at 9:00pm: we will board shortly thereafter :)
You may join at any station along the way, but the fun will begin at Henri-Bourassa. Please bring a costume, a camera, decorations and a small gift to share with a new friend!

Snow Day will be an afternoon of sledding, snow castles and a giant snowball fight! Brave the gully’s treacherous hills with a crazy carpet or just the seat of your pants. Dress warmly, bring refreshments and have fun!

Our wishes have finally come true :) After a massive downpour of snow, we will be sledding in Trinity Bellwoods Park all morning.
Then at 1 PM, we will commence the snowball fight in the centre of the bowl! :D
Build snowforts, jumps for sledding, and snow people!
Afterward, join us in Nathan Phillips Square for the second weekend of WinterCity, with hot chocolate, fire art and dance music.
